HEY, I'M PIKOZUMO!

My name is Riel. I’m an artist that has been drawing all of their life. I’ve never been one for words, so I enjoy expression through illustration and storytelling, notably in an anime-meets-western cartoon style. Although I primarily work in a heavily anime-influenced digital art style, I often enjoy breaking out the graphite to do some gesture drawing.

This course gives a rundown on the basics of setting up digital art from file creation to making an anime styled drawing using references and imagery. It combines the deconstruction of the shared functions between most drawing software, with a step by step on how to use those functions in your work while building a visual library that speaks to students and can serve as a foundation for more.
